As promised, the reception was fabulous! Everyone raved about the food, which is rare for weddings ... Wishing you continued success in your business. I will be sure to recommend you to any of my friends that are planning a wedding. ”

3Citron Caterers have been the exclusive caterer at Tregaron for the past six years. We currently enjoy catering upwards of 30 events a year, including weddings, corporate functions, and private social gatherings. Tregaron has a fully-seated capacity of 130 people, 200 people for a cocktail-style reception. There is parking for 90 cars on-site.

Tregaron is currently a building on the Upper School campus of Washington International School. It has also been a home of Marjorie Merriweather Post and her husband, Ambassador Joseph Davies. Tregaron is on the National Register of Historic Places and has long been considered one of Washington’s great homes.

The three-story, red-brick mansion features a welcoming interior Foyer with pillars, high ceilings and brass chandelier, an ivory marble floor leading to a grand carpeted staircase with lattice railing. Directly ahead is the Terrace Room which opens to an expansive outdoor terrace overlooking Klingle Valley. To the right is Davies Hall. Both rooms feature pecan-wood paneling, dark green marble fireplaces, and parquet floors. There is a baby grand piano in Davies Hall.

Perhaps the most stunning feature of Tregaron is its expansive grounds and gardens. The Terrace enjoys panoramic views of Tregaron’s sloping back lawn and is a wonderful place for a meal on a breezy evening. An authentic Dacha and an architectural gem of a greenhouse frame the Dacha garden and fountain. Another fountain gurgles on the patio of the Hidden Grove. A grand staircase and well-landscaped circular drive provide an entrance that is just as stunning as the rest of the home.
